Annual Fuel Modification Update

A Fuel Modification is a planned landscape design that reduces the threat of wildfire, by creating a fire-resistant divider between homes that are adjacent to areas of natural plant life. Bemis Landscape is currently completing the annual fuel modification to cut back overgrown brush along the perimeter of the community. You may notice workers along the edges of the community working to clear these areas. The most recent fires in the local mountains and canyons highlight the reasons the Association takes this annual fuel mod seriously and works in partnership with Bemis Landscape and the Orange County County Fire Authority to ensure its successful completion.
